When an order has been placed on this website, we will email you an order confirmation with a summary of all your order details. We do not take funds automatically, but when the details or your order are checked against available inventory. In some cases we may need to contact you if we are not able to fulfil your order. At point of despatch we will email you a despatch confirmation that will include your consignment number and hyperlink to our carrier's Track and Trace website. If you cancel your order prior to despatch we will issue you a full refund. To cancel your order after despatch, please refer to our Returns Policy for a full explanation of how to do this. Deliveries outside Australia will be quoted for at the time of purchase. With the exception of some cleaning products, which are classified hazardous goods, we use Australia Post Registered Mail to deliver items ordered on this website. Such deliveries include insurance for loss or damage of the items. Orders that consist of hazardous cleaning products only must be couriered to the customer, and delivery charges will be quoted at the time of ordering. Postal deliveries are addressed to your address, not person to person, so whoever answers the door can take receipt of the parcel. All deliveries need to be signed for, so please bear this in mind when giving us a delivery address. If you are not home when the parcel is delivered, a notice will be left by Australia Post indicating that the parcel can be collected from your local post office. The notice will also include a Registered Post ID number, which you can use with Australia Post to verify the location of the item with them. You will need to provide proof of ID to collect it. Couriered deliveries will be delivered to your door. If no one is home at the time of delivery, the parcels will be left on your doorstep, or as per your specific instructions. Unfortunately, the courier cannot attempt a re-delivery if you are not present at the time of initial delivery. During our busy period in the summer, orders can take up to 2 weeks to despatch. During the rest of the year we aim to despatch your order within 2-3 working days after receiving it. If there is a problem with stock availability we will notify you within 2 working days to advise you of the expected time frame for delivery. You have the right to cancel the order if you do not wish to wait. We would not make a substitution unless advised by you to do so. Within Australia, you will normally receive your order within 3 working days of despatch, subject to Australia Post and our Couriers. Methods of Payment If you are ordering via this website, then you need to pay by credit or debit card. We accept the following Credit/Debit cards: VISA, MASTERCARD and American Express. You can also order with personal cheque (subject to funds being cleared), or Money Order. Please note: we do not debit your card until the day your goods are being despatched. If you are paying by card and having your order delivered to an address different to the card billing address then please ensure that you provide us with full and correct billing address details as well as the delivery address. We cannot process your order without this information. If you wish to pay by cheque or Money Order then please place your order by post using an order form from the web site. These must be payable to 'Birkenstock By Nature'. Please remember to write your name, address and drivers license details on the back or your cheque. Cheques need to be crossed and marked Not Negotiable. Cancellations You may cancel an order at any time, provided we receive notification of the cancellation prior to shipment of your order. Where this occurs, you are entitled to a full refund of the purchase price of the items ordered. Returns We hope you will be delighted with your new Birkenstocks. Please ensure you are standing on a carpeted surface when trying them on. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns if the soles or footbed linings of the shoes are marked.
If you decide to return your Birkenstocks, please do so within 14 days of receiving them, in their original condition and box, along with a copy of your receipt. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to accept return of Sale items. We will issue a full refund or exchange for any item you return in these conditions. If the products purchased from Birkenstock By Nature are damaged upon delivery, we will replace them on the condition that written notification of their damage is advised to us within three (3) days of receipt of goods. Again, you can email us with these details at info@BirkenstockByNature.com.au. Damaged goods must be returned to our Returns Address (see below) within 14 days of purchase to be eligible for a refund. We will not honour returns sent to us after this period. If you require an exchange, please advise us of the different size/width/colour you require. If you are returning goods for a refund please include all your original payment details, as this helps us to process your return faster. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. Please wrap the package securely. We find that a small to medium Birkenstock box easily fits inside an Australia Post 3kg parcel post bag. Do not use the Birkenstock shoe box as outer packaging. For your protection, we recommend that you use Registered Post. Accuracy We have taken every care to ensure that the description and specifications of our products are correct. However slight variations may occur. Colour reproduction is as close as the process allows.
The prices quoted are valid for the duration of the season and include GST at the current rate. Birkenstock is designed, styled and mainly manufactured in Germany. Particular items may be sourced in other countries due to production constraints.
